As you probably already know, I'm the owner of Sailboat Weddings. I've always loved throwing a good party so the fact that I stumbled into the wedding planning scene doesn't shock any of my family and friends.

I'm an open book, lover of black coffee, lazy lake days and you can always count on me to be the girl to cry during a movie. I have a slight obsession with holiday decor and picture frames (just ask my hubby!) and always spend way too much time in Target and Hobby Lobby.

Speaking of my hubby, we're high school sweethearts who married in 2014. We have three fur babies, a bearded dragon and a little boy named Lincoln.

Hello! I'm, Kaitie.

Your go-to Gal for all things wedding planning

My favorite moment of a wedding is right before the bride walks down the aisle. I love the anticipation of her loved ones who have gathered awaiting to see her. And, I love that in that moment no matter what the day has held leading up to it, all of that doesn't matter now because she is about to marry her very best friend.

Well, I like to think it's a whole lotta fun! My goal is to eliminate the stress that can come with planning such a monumental event. I handle all the nitty gritty details that you don't want to think about. I help coordinate and execute your day with the upmost importance to ensure your dream day is a reality.

To me, you're not just another client. And, by the end of your wedding, I really will consider you a friend - even if I am just your day-of coordinator!

I'd love to chat more and answer any questions you might have. Feel free to send me an email or give me a ring. I look forward to meeting you!

WHat is planning your wedding with me like?

Long story short, I named Sailboat Weddings after my grandpa who passed away in September of 2009.

There are three things you need to know about Papa. One, he never met a stranger. Two, his goal was to always make things easier for his family. Three, he loved Jesus and - you guessed it - Sailboats.

Sailboat Weddings is a daily reminder that I can make the world a better place one day at a time just like Papa.
